Lavani jewellery is a unique Spanish jewellery brand. In Lavani they design each and every one of their jewels, using noble metals and natural stones. Each collection involves an elaborate production process. And it is this delicate and lengthy process that gives essence to their jewellery.

Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted, with the stones cut and set by hand. Sometimes the stone is used "raw", i.e. as it is provided by nature. At other times, the stone is cut and facets are added to make it shine. Cutting the stones is a very laborious process, but it brings personality and sophistication to each of Lavani's jewels.

STONES:

Moonstone belongs to the silicate group and is found in plutonic rocks. It is strongly linked to the moon and intuition. Inside the stone there are thin layers of orthoclase and albite arranged one on top of the other, which gives it its beautiful lustre. Light strikes the thin layers scattering it in a phenomenon known as addulearescence.

Labradorite belongs to the feldspar group and is found in plutonic rocks. It is a rainbow gemstone, with a grey base and reflections in blues, greens, silvers, yellows and golds. Labradorite is said to be highly protective, forming a barrier to negative energies.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ME

Here are our 5 basic rules to keep your Lavani bath and jewellery looking as good as new.

1. DO NOT USE COLOGNE OR CLEANING PRODUCTS ON THEM.

In general, avoid contact with other substances that can cause your piece to darken or lose its shine due to chemical abrasion.

2. DON'T WEAR THEM WHEN DOING SPORT

The pH of the skin and the increased level of body perspiration can cause the bath to be lost more quickly.

3. STORE THEM CAREFULLY IN A SMALL BAG.

And preferably individually, so that they are better preserved.

4. REJUVENATE THEM BY WIPING THEM WITH A COTTON CLOTH.

You can clean them with a little warm water and pH-neutral soap and a soft toothbrush, then dry them with a chamois. It is important that you do not rub intensely, as this can cause the gold-plated pieces to wear away from the plating.

5. DO NOT COOL THEM IN THE SEA OR IN CHLORINATED POOLS.

Do not subject them to sudden changes in temperature either, as natural stones can suffer changes in colour.
